摘　　要：火炭母为蓼科(Polygonaceae)蓼属(Polygonum)植物火炭母Polygonum chinense L.的干燥全草,具有清热除湿、凉血解毒、利肝明目、舒经活血的功效,常用于治疗痢疾、肝炎、湿疹等。系统整理国内外关于火炭母的研究报道,对火炭母在鉴定、化学成分、药理作用、临床应用等方面的研究进展进行综述,为进一步研究开发火炭母提供参考。Polygonum chinense belongs to the genus Polygonum(Polygonaceae),which has the functions of clearing heat and dehumidifying,cooling blood and detoxifying,benefiting liver and brightening eyes,relaxing circulation and activating blood circulation.The whole plant is used medicinally.It commonly used in the treatment of dysentery,hepatitis,eczema and so on.This paper summarized the domestic and foreign reports on the study of P.chinense and the research progress on the identification,chemical composition,pharmacological action,clinical application and other aspects of P.chinense providing the basis for further research and development of P.chinense.
