摘　　要：2019年是甲骨文发现120周年。烟台福山人王懿荣以甲骨文的发现者、著名的金石学家、伟大的爱国者而为世人所知。王懿荣投井殉国后,清政府赠其"文敏"谥号,是以后人皆尊称其为"王文敏公"。时人为王懿荣临危受命、杀身成仁的忠烈气节所感慨,而众多笔记杂记中有关他的轶闻韵事,则为今人了解这位历史名人提供了别样的视角。2019 witnessed the 120th anniversary of the discovery of the inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells of the Shang Dynasty.Wang Yirong,a native of Fushan,Yantai,is known to the world as a discoverer of them,famous scholar of inscriptions on ancient bronzes and stone tablets and great patriot.After Wang Yirong drowned oneself in a well to give his life to his country,the Qing Dynasty endowed him with the posthumous title of"Wenmin."Hence the later generations respectfully called him"Wang Wenmin Gong."People at that time were deeply moved by Wang Yirong’s heroic spirit of accepting the mission in time of danger and dying a martyr.Numerous notes and annals about his anecdotes provide special angles of views about the historical celebrity.
