摘 要:为提高聚乙烯(PE)的阻燃性能,采用原位聚合法制备三聚氰胺甲醛树脂(MF)改性的氢氧化镁(MMH)作为阻燃剂,经熔融共混制备无卤阻燃PE复合材料(MMH/PE)。利用热重分析、SEM、XRD等方法对MMH进行理化性能表征。通过氧指数、力学性能、烟密度等考察MMH/PE复合材料的燃烧性能和阻燃机理。结果表明:树脂包覆量为15%的阻燃剂添加40%时,MMH/PE复合材料的氧指数最高为24.7%,比同等添加量的MH作为阻燃剂时的氧指数提升了11%。MMH降低了对PE力学性能的影响,树脂包覆量为15%,添加30%的MMH阻燃剂时,MMH/PE复合材料的力学性能降低最小,拉伸强度为12.71 MPa,断裂伸长率为45.07%,MMH/PE的拉伸强度与断裂伸长率比MH/PE均有提高。MMH对PE燃烧有明显的抑烟效果。To improve the flame retardancy of polyethylene(PE),modified magnesium hydroxide(MMH)was prepared by in-situ polymerization with melamine formaldehyde resin(MF),and halogen-free flame retardant PE composites(MMH/PE)were prepared by melt blending.The physical and chemical properties of MMH were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis,SEM and XRD.Combustion properties and flame retardant mechanism of MMH/PE composites were investigated by oxygen index,mechanical properties and smoke density.The results indicated that:with 40%addition of 15%resin-coated flame retardant,the oxygen index of MMH/PE composites was 24.7%and 11%higher than that with the same amount of MH as flame retardant.The effect of MMH on the mechanical properties of PE was reduced.When the resin coating amount was 15%and the flame retardant contained 30%of MMH,the mechanical properties decrease of MMH/PE composites were lowest,the tensile strength was 12.71 MPa and the elongation at break was 45.07%.The tensile strength and elongation at break of MMH/PE were higher than those of MH/PE.MMH had obvious smoke suppression effect on PE combustion.
