摘　　要：六百多年来,贵州省名因何而得、起自何时,向来颇多争议,相关说法计有五六种之多。但其中占主流的有两种,一是源于宋太祖《谕普贵敕》中“惟尔贵州,远在要服”一语,一是田祐恭曾任“贵州防御史”一职。通过研究发现,这两种观点也都不可靠。本文对“贵州”一词的起源,“贵州”作为行政区、地名所涵盖的地域及其沿革,作一次文献上的梳理和分析,为澄清这个迷雾贡献一己之言。For more than 600 years,there have been many controversies about why and when the name of Guizhou province was derived from.There are as many as five or six related theories.However,there are two main types.One is derived from the phrase“Were Guizhou,far away must be served”in Song Taizu's“Yu Pu Guizhou”,and the other is that Tian Yougong once held the post of“Guizhou Defense History”.Through research,it is found that these two views are not reliable.This article reviews and analyzes the origin of the term“Guizhou”,the area covered by“Guizhou”as an administrative region,place name,and its evolution,and it contributes to clarifying this mist.
