摘 要:随着光电检测技术的不断发展,光功率计已成为光纤系统测试的必备仪器,相当于电工学的万用表工具,在光纤通信工程及其相关科研教学中起关键作用,需求量也将大幅增加。针对目前主流产品的光功率计测量精度在1%~5%左右、不能满足精度高的要求、测量下限在-70 dBm左右、工作波长为2~6个等特点,以PIN光电二极管实现信号的光电转化,并采用非线性的对数放大器以及嵌入式技术,设计一种光功率计。同时,在数据处理方面,采用算术平均值滤波算法以及分段线性化、波长选择、示值修正的计算方法,具有高精度,宽范围,以及工作波长多的特点。实测结果表明:该光功率计测量精度在1%以下,测量宽度可以达到-80^+10 dBm以及工作波长可以达到7个以上,满足光纤通信工程及其相关科研教学中对光功率测试的需要。With advance of optoelectronic detection technology,the optical power meter has become a necessary instrument for testing fiber optic system.It is functioned as a multimeter to electrical engineering,which plays a key role in fiber optic communication engineering and related research and teaching along with significant demand.The existing measuring accuracy of the optical power meter for mainstream products is about 1%~5%,which cannot meet the requirements of high accuracy.The lower measuring limits are about-70 dBm,and the working wavelength is 2~6.In this optical power meter design,in order to reach high accuracy,wide measuring range,and multiple working wavelengths characteristics,the signal photoelectric conversion by PIN photodiodes and a non-linear logarithmic amplifier and embedded technology are applied.At the same time,in the data processing,an arithmetic mean filtering algorithm and piecewise linearization,wavelength selection,and indication correction calculation methods are applied as well.The measurement results show that the measuring accuracy of the optical power meter is better than 1%along with the measuring range can reach-80^+10 dBm,and the operating wavelength can reach more than 7.The optical power meter meets the needs of optical fiber communication engineering and related research and teaching on optical power testing.
