摘　　要：《双城记》充分展现了狄更斯的艺术创作灵魂。《双城记》表达出尖锐的阶级对立和激烈的阶级斗争是导致革命爆发的根源所在。不同的人物的经历反映出不同阶级的人对革命所拥有的不同态度。小说创作于法国大革命时期,揭露封建贵族阶级对底层人民的压迫,突出了只有仁爱才是解决矛盾的关键。A tale of Two Cities fully shows Dickens’soul of artistic creation.The sharp class opposition and fierce class struggle in the novel are the root causes for the outbreak of the revolution.From the characters’experiences,we can see that people of different classes have different attitudes towards the revolution.This novel exposes the oppression of the feudal aristocracy on the bottom of the people in the French Revolution period,and highlights that only benevolence is the key to solve the contradiction.
