摘　　要：同步数字体系(SDH)作为光纤通信主要技术之一,因具有许多优势,满足了整个通信过程中的同步要求。文章简要介绍了同步数字体系拓补结构、复用原理、应用以及与准同步数字体系相比的巨大优势,并对未来SDH的发展趋势进行了展望,说明了SDH技术的重要作用。As one of the main technologies of optical fiber communication,synchronous digital system(SDH)has many advantages,which meets the requirements of synchronization in the whole communication process.This paper briefly introduces the extension structure,reuse principle,application of synchronous digital system and the great advantages compared with quasi-synchronous digital system,and prospects the development trend of SDH in the future,indicating the great influence of SDH technology.
