摘 要:人类学和博物馆都关注和探讨作为"他者"的异文化,都在对文化符号的诠释中完成意义建构。人类学对文化符号的意义阐释理论,尤其是克利福德·格尔茨提出的阐释人类学为当代博物馆展览的理论、方法与实践提供了多方面启示。"深描"理论启发策展方关注展品背后的社会文化信息和故事,提供超越展品本身的信息与意义建构;"地方性知识"概念引导策展方跳出自我建构的合理化陷阱,重新审视我们对"他者"和"自身"的立场与心态;"文化持有者的内部眼界"理论让策展方在展示异文化时兼顾主体与客体的双重视角,入乎其中再出乎其外;其后的反思人类学则启示博物馆鼓励公众更深入全面地介入策展行为中。Both anthropology and museums investigate"other"cultures and achieve the construction of meanings by the interpretation of cultural symbols. The theories of interpreting the meaning of cultural symbols in anthropology, especially the theory of interpretative anthropology by Clifford Geertz, provide great insights for the theories, methods and practices of contemporary museum exhibitions. The theory of"thick description"proposes to put more focus on the socio-cultural information and stories behind the objects and promotes meaning construction beyond the exhibits. The concept of"local knowledge"helps the curators jump out of the trap of self-constructed rationalization and re-examine their standpoint and mentality towards"the other"and"ourselves"."The native’s point of view"enables the curators to take into account the dual perspectives of us and others and consider experiences distant and near when displaying other cultures. Reflective Anthropology after Gertz inspires the museum to encourage the public to engage more deeply and comprehensively in the curatorial behavior.
