摘　　要：唐后期至五代,由于藩镇的内地化,军乱频繁发生,城市秩序受到严重冲击,军中维持军纪的虞候逐渐参与城市治安管理,一些城市被分为左、右厢,由都虞候负责治安管理;宋立国后,厢制在城市中得到推广,诸厢都所由以军巡使派遣的虞候充任,被称为“厢虞候”,正式成为城市基层治安的主要管理者。在唐宋“城市革命”中,虞候在城市治安管理中发挥越来越大的作用,并在宋代得到确认,成为宋代厢制的一部分,从而为唐后期开始的城市治安管理制度变革找到了历史出路。Yuhou,which was originally the officer of military officer,gradually played a role in the security administration in urban areas since late Tang and Five Dynasties.Then in Song,yuhou became the principal player in the urban security administration.Herein lay the way out for the urban public security system undergoing changes since late Tang.
