摘 要:1998年动画电影《花木兰》大获成功,让花木兰成为全球家喻户晓的中国公主,但迪士尼影片公司于2020年出品的真人电影《花木兰》上映至今,口碑和票房却不尽如人意。通过对这两部电影在角色、场景设计、视听语言特色、情节表达和主题思想等方面的比较研究,可以发现导致两者市场反馈结果悬殊的缘由并探寻好莱坞式中国主题动画电影的最终价值追求。Due to the great success of the animated film of Mulan in 1998,the live action film of Mulan produced by Disney Pictures in 2020 attracted a lot of attention and expectation.However,its reputation and box office fell short of what was expected.In contrast,the animated film of Mulan more than 20 years ago has made Mulan a household Chinese princess in the world.Through a comparative study of two films from the perspectives of character image,plot setting,scene design,audio-visual language and theme,this paper aims to interpret the gap between the market feedback of the two films and explore the ultimate value pursuit of Hollywood Chinese theme animation films.
