摘　　要：康拉德《黑暗的心》是一部描写殖民者残暴掠夺非洲丛林的现代主义小说。在少量的女性形象描写中,小说着重描写了主人公库尔兹的未婚妻和与库尔兹有关系的非洲女人。不同的处境使两位女性具有不同的他者特征,未婚妻被禁锢在家庭中,具有内在性,而非洲女人具有他者的特殊性。父权制度下,她们被蒙蔽、驯化,依附于男人实现价值。随着残暴的库尔兹的离去,这两个女人所有的一切也崩塌了,她们成了男人的“殉道者”。Conrad′s Heart of Darkness is a modernist novel that depicts the brutal plundering of the African jungle by colonialists,and focuses on the protagonist Kurtz′s fiancée and the African woman who has a relationship with Kurtz in a small number of female images.The characteristics of"the Other"indicated by the two women are different due to their different situations.While Kurtz′s fiancée is intrinsic to the family,the African woman has the peculiarities of"the Other".Under the patriarchal system,they are deceived and domesticated by men,dependent on men to realize their values.After the death of the brutal Kurtz,the two women lose all they have,and they have become the"martyrs"of men.
