摘　　要：集合住宅是与独立式住宅相对的概念,由两户以上居住单位组成的住宅即为通常意义上的集合住宅。中文语境的“集合住宅”,来自日本引进美国“Apartm ent House”时的汉字翻译(另一种日文译法为音译外来语)。Apartment House is a concept opposite to the notion of single-detached dwelling,and normally houses composed of two or more residential units are multi-dwelling.The"Apartment House"in Chinese context comes from the Japanese translation of the American term"Apartment House"in Kanji when the concept was introduced in Japan(the other version of it in Japanese is a transliteration).
