Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of ultrasound-guided sacral block in lower abdominal surgery in children. Methods:Two hundred and sixty cases of children undergoing lower abdominal operation were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group with 130 cases each. The control group underwent traditional sacral canal block anesthesia while the observation group underwent ultrasound guided sacral canal block. The anesthetic effects were compared between the two groups. Results:The puncture time and puncture times were less(P<0.01)and the ratio of successful puncture and block was higher(P<0.05),the results of Swoosh test were significantly better(P<0.01)and the physical movement of the children during operation was significantly lower(P<0.05)in the observation group than the control group. Conclusion:Ultrasound guided sacral canal block can improve the quality and success rate of sacral puncture, and effectively judge the success rate of puncture and its application in lower abdominal surgery is safe and effective.
