摘　　要：理查德·赖特是20世纪美国黑人文学的重要代表作家,对20世纪后半叶黑人作家的文学创作产生了深远的影响。他的《土生子》被人称为“抗议小说”,小说展现了主人公别格·托马斯作为一个黑人的恐惧心理以及由犯罪走向死亡的过程。在最后一部分《命运》中,作者用大量篇幅来描写法庭上的场景,主人公别格内心出现了理性的回归。他对自己杀死善良白人的行为产生了质疑,也是他尚未泯灭的人性之光开始冲破怨恨、恐惧、报复等阴暗心理所构成的心灵枷锁。作者用这种“以人性唤醒人性,以良知激发良知”的生动情节,使整部作品中揭露社会的尖锐和透视人性的深刻相辅相成,相映生辉,给读者带来更多的启悟和思考。Richard Wright is an important representative writer of black American literature in the 20th century,who has exerted a profound influence on the literary creation of black writers in the latter half of the 20th century.His Native Son is known as a“protest novel”,which shows the protagonist Bigger Thomas'fear as a black man and the whole process from crime to death.In the last part Destiny,the writer applied amounts of space to describe the plots in the court,the protagonist Bigger,returned to reason in his heart.He questioned himself about killing the kind white,which showed his light of human nature that was not dead yet began to break through the chains made by hatred,fear,revenge and other dark emotions.The writer applied such vivid plots,that is,“to awake humanity with humanity,to stimulate consciousness with consciousness”,which makes the sharpness of revealing the society and the profoundness of analyzing the humanity complementary with each other,and bring more enlightenment and reflection to the readers.
