系统功能语言学视域下的低调陈述修辞研究

摘　　要：系统功能语言学是以解决社会中遇到的语言实际问题为目标的适用性语言学理论,能够有层次、有系统和全面地描写和解释运用中的低调陈述。以系统功能语言学的语境、元功能和语言层次性框架为参照,分析低调陈述修辞语言使用者作出的选择,可以考察低调陈述修辞话语的动态特性,论证低调陈述不仅反映人类经验,还映射权力与控制等社会关系。以系统功能语言学的纯理功能框架和文化语境框架为参照,可以考察低调陈述修辞语言表达概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能,以及与使用环境如社会文化环境之间的关系等,论证低调陈述可以反映和建构客观和内心世界,建立和保持人际关系,还可以反映人类在怎样特定的文化环境和社会环境中使用低调陈述来识解经验、表达并创造意义。Systemic functional linguistics is an applicable linguistic theory aimed at solving practical linguistic problems encountered in society.It can describe and explain understatement in application in a hierarchical,systematic and comprehensive manner.With reference to context,meta-function and linguistic hierarchy of systemic functional linguistics,ananalysis is conducted on the choices made by understatement in order to examine the dynamic characteristics of understatement discourse,demonstrating that understatement not only reflects human experience but also maps social relations such as power and control.Referring to the theoretical functional framework and cultural context framework of systemic functional linguistics,investigations can be done on the conceptual,interpersonal and discourse functions of understatement,as well as its relationship with the environment of use,such as social and cultural environments.It is argued that understatement can present and construct the objective and the inner world,negotiate and specify interpersonal relationships and reflect how human beings use understatement to understand experience,express and create meanings in a specific cultural and social environment.
