摘　　要：《红色英勇勋章》是美国自然主义大师斯蒂芬·克莱恩所作。这部小说自问世以来就受到了很多的争议,评论家也是从不同的角度对这部小说进行了分析。在对《红色英勇勋章》众多的分析当中,关于主人公的精神成长研究是具有十分重要意义的部分。在这部小说中,主人公亨利·弗莱明从一个不经世事的少年慢慢地成长为一个大人,学会成熟的同时也成了真正的自己,本文所关注的也是主人公亨利的精神成长,对其精神成长主题进行进一步的研究与分析。"The Red Badge of Courage" was written by Stephen Klein, a naturalist in the United States. The novel has been controversial since it was published, and critics have analyzed it from different perspectives. Among the numerous analyses of "The Red Badge of Courage", the study of the hero’s spiritual growth is of great significance. In this novel, the protagonist Henry Fleming grows up from a casual teenager to an adult, and at the same time becomes a real self when he learns to mature. This paper focuses on the spiritual growth of the protagonist Henry, and further studies and analyzes the theme of his spiritual growth.
