摘　　要：后工业革命时期,美国建筑师阿尔伯特·卡恩将实用主义与建筑工业美学完美结合,在工业建筑史上独树一帜,他的作品以不同视角记录了20世纪初美国以底特律地区为开端的工业建筑历史。本文通过对卡恩设计思想和作品的梳理及与同时代欧洲工业建筑的对比,探讨20世纪初欧美工业建筑的特点,并力求对我国工业建筑设计研究、工业遗产保护再利用提供参考。In the post-industrial revolution period, American architect Albert Kahn perfectly combined pragmatism with aesthetics of building industry, making him unique in the history of industrial architecture. His works recorded the history of American industrial architecture starting from Detroit area in the early 20 th century from different perspectives. This paper summarizes the contrast between Kahn’s works and contemporary European styles, discusses the different characteristics of European and American industrial buildings in the early 20 th century, and tries to provide references for the design, research, protection and utilization of industrial buildings in China.
