摘  要:为了研究B掺杂对HoCo2化合物的结构和磁热效应的影响,采用电弧熔炼炉制备了HoCo2B x(x=0~0.2)系列样品,使用X射线衍射仪和综合物性测量系统分别表征了它们的结构和磁热效应。实验结果表明,B只能微量固溶在HoCo2化合物中。HoCo2化合物具有MgCu 2型立方晶体结构,它的空间群为Fd3 m。B掺杂后晶格常数有所增大,在x=0.1时达到极大值a=7.1759。所有化合物都是一级相转变材料,在磁场诱导下它们在居里温度附近发生了顺磁性到铁磁性的转变。在1 T的磁场下,HoCo2B x(x=0.0~0.15)化合物的磁熵变分别为12.9、12.58、10.11、8.07 J/(kg·K)。B掺杂对HoCo2化合物的晶体结构和磁性能均有一定的影响,为研究间隙原子掺杂对RCo 2化合物结构和磁性能的影响提供了参考价值。To study the effect of B doping on the structure and magnetocaloric effect of HoCo2 compound,HoCo2B x(x=0~0.2)series samples were prepared by arc melting furnace.Their structure and magnetocaloric effect were characterized by X-ray diffractionr and comprehensive physical property measurement system respectively.The experimental results show that B can only be dissolved in HoCo2 in a small amount.HoCo2 compound has MgCu 2 type cubic crystal structure and its space group is Fd3 m.The lattice constant increased after B doping,and reached the maximum value of a=7.1759 at x=0.05.All compounds are first-order phase transition materials,which undergo a paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition at the curie temperature induced by the magnetic field.Under the magnetic field of 1 T,the magnetic entropy change of HoCo2B x(x=0~0.15)compounds was 12.9,12.58,10.11,8.07 J/(kg·K),respectively.B doping has a certain effect on the crystal structure and magnetic properties of HoCo2 compounds,which provides reference value for studying the effect of interatomic doping on the structure and magnetic properties of RCo 2 compounds.
