“雪中芭蕉”与“火里莲花”的民族植物学解析

摘　　要：古籍经典中有“雪中芭蕉”和“火里莲花”的图像和文字记载,表示珍贵和不可思议,用于隐喻人物高尚品格。基于文献考证、物候观察和实地调查,发现芭蕉科植物地涌金莲Musella lasiocarpa(Franch.)C.Y.Wu ex H.W.Li在生物学上比较符合“雪中芭蕉”和“火里莲花”的特征,结合地涌金莲在中国传统文化中的地位和作用,认为“雪中芭蕉”与“火里莲花”的植物原型就是中国特有植物地涌金莲。Image and written records about″banana in the snow″and″lotus in the fire″were found at ancient classics book,which are precious and inconceivable,and are used to metaphor the noble character of fugure.Based on literature review,phenological observation and field investigation,the author found that Musella lasiocarpa(Franch.)C.Y.Wu ex H.W.Li is biologically in line with the characteristics of″banana in the snow″and″lotus in the fire″.According to the position and role of M.lasiocarpa in traditional Chinese culture,It is concluded that characteristic chinese M.lasiocarpa(Franch.)is the plant prototypes of″banana in the snow″and″lotus in the fire″.
