严歌苓小说的自涉互文性分析——以长篇小说《小姨多鹤》和《芳华》为例

摘  要:严歌苓的作品存在着自涉互文性现象:其长篇小说《小姨多鹤》和《芳华》都以荒诞而真实的人性为主题;故事中多鹤和小曼以及两人倾心的张俭和刘峰有着很多共同点;两部小说有一些很类似的故事情节;两部作品都使用了重复叙述的写作手法,即通过视角的转换,在故事的不同发展阶段叙述同样的场景或提示同样的线索,达到推动故事情节发展、放大叙述的效果。严歌苓作品中存在的这种自涉互文性现象并未影响作品的品质,而是构成了作品的重要基色,同时这也是作者在写作上不断探索的表现。The so-called intertextuality of self-involvement means that writers absorb or transform their earlier works during creation,so that we can“see”the characters and plots in their earlier works in their later works.This phenomenon is very common in literary works,and it also exists in Yan Geling’s works.Her novels Auntie Duohe and You Touched Me take the absurd and real human nature as the theme.The heroes and heroines in the story have a lot in common.The two novels also have similar storylines,including a mother braiding her daughter’s hair in detail to depict the relationship between the mother and her daughter.In addition,the two works also use the writing technique of repeated narration.Through the transformation of perspectives,the same scenes or clues are narrated at different stages of the story,so as to promote the development of the story and enlarge the narration effect.In short,the intertextuality in Yan Geling’s works does not affect the quality of her works,but serves as an important base color of her works and also reflects her constant exploration in writing.
