摘 要:ESP的教学目的是引导学生进行专业英语交流或职场英语交流,MTI科技笔译教学除了涵盖专业英语的检索、分析和使用等ESP语言教学外,还需要按照翻译行业需求来组织教学。以T/TAC-2016笔译服务要求为例,分析行业标准指导MTI科技笔译教学的意义、特征和核心。将行业标准纳入MTI笔译教学,意义在于明确笔译员培训的内容和能力目标,其特点表现为:课堂聚焦整个项目流程;课堂评估以实现客户要求为参照;课堂组织以合作式学习为基本模式;教学目标凸显对多种岗位能力的要求。该教学模式的核心可总结为“一个中心贯穿两个过程”。The teaching purpose of ESP is to guide students to communicate in professional or workplace English.Besides such ESP teaching objectives as retrieval,analysis and use of specialized English,ESP translation teaching needs to be organized according to the needs of the translation industry.The paper illustrates the significance,essential features and essence of ESP translator training under the guidance of the translation service requirement T/TAC-2016.Specifically,this requirement is of great significance for clarifying ESP translator training tasks and translation competences,and the training course under the guidance of T/TAC-2016 is mainly characterized by multi-competence training goal,process-oriented operation,cooperative learning and client-centered translation quality assessment.Moreover,the essence of this training model is to emphasize two translation brief-oriented translating processes.
