导演视域下董每戡剧论探赜——以《〈琵琶记〉简说》和《五大名剧论》为例

摘  要:董每戡先生是我国现代著名的戏曲史家、戏曲理论家和剧作家,同时还是一位杰出的戏剧导演。他以丰富的舞台经验进行中国戏剧史及其经典剧作的研究,进而形成一家之言的"剧史家说"和"以演剧为核心的舞台观"的剧史观,而其立足于舞台的导演意识在对相关剧作的阐述和研究时也格外凸显。以《〈琵琶记〉简说》和《五大名剧论》为例,他通过对元明清五大经典剧作的"导演式说戏",一方面对其所倡导的剧史观进行了理论实践,并为其构建完整的"剧史体系"作了充分准备;另一方面从方法论的角度为我国古典剧作的研究提供了具有典范意义的全新参考系。Dong Meikan was not only a prominent historian and theorist of Chinese opera and playwright but also a theater director.With extensive onstage experience as a director,he studied the history and the classic plays of Chinese opera and gained an insight on the history and performance of Chinese opera.For example,in his On Tale of the Pipa and On Five Classic Chinese Plays,he dissected five classic Chinese plays of the Yuan,Ming,and Qing dynasties from a director’s perspective,putting his theory into practice and laying the foundations for a framework of Chinese opera history while providing a new methodology for the study on Chinese classic plays.
