摘　　要：在乔伊斯的经典作品《一个青年艺术家的肖像》中,主人公斯蒂芬在面对外部话语体系的压迫时,重视主体感知,主动参与价值评估,并通过自由选择和强力意志,理清了个体与集体意识对立又统一的关系,确立了自己作为一个艺术家的身份和使命。其“良心”的生成和成长是对生命和强力的肯定。作为一部艺术家成长小说,《一个青年艺术家的肖像》暗含着深刻的存在主义哲学思想。斯蒂芬的成长选择为个体身份建立和主体“良心”的生成和成长提供了一种参考范式。In Joyce'sA Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man,Stephen,when faced with the oppression of the external discourse system,values his subjective consciousness,actively reevaluates the value system,and clarifies the contradictory and interdependent relations between individual and collective consciousness.His identity and callings as an artist are established.The formation and growth of Stephen’s“conscience”are the affirmation of life and will to power.As a Künstlerroman,A Portrait of the Artist as a young Man contains profound existential thoughts.Stephen’s choices in his growth provide a reference paradigm for establishment of identity and the formation and growth of subject“conscience”.
