摘　　要：通謇一号棉(俗称鸡脚棉)属陆地棉的一种,系历史棉花品种,停用了近一个世纪。后经发现、培育及试种,人工采摘棉花时分别收取棉株下层(早期)、中层(中期)、上层(晚期),并对棉花样品进行检验、测试和分析。结果表明:该棉花品种生长良好,属细绒棉,有一定的抗台风、抗盐碱能力,但其中含有少量未发育成熟的短绒棉籽。棉纤维细度、长度、强度、卷曲、颜色、光泽等性能良好,适用于纺制100英支以下纱线。因未经转基因抗虫改造,纤维性能(马克隆值)符合历史规律,有较好的使用价值。Tongqian No.1,commonly known as Jijiao cotton,belongs to a kind of land cotton.It is a historical cotton breed and has been disused for nearly a century.After discovery,breeding and planting experimentally,cotton samples were collected from its lower layer(early stage),middle layer(middle stage)and upper layer(late stage)respectively.Through inspection,test and analysis of the cotton samples,it is concluded that the cotton,which belongs to medium cotton,grows well and resists typhoon and saline-alkali;however,it contains a small amount of immature short-staple cotton seeds.The cotton fiber has good performance including fineness,length,strength,crimp,color,luster and so on,suitable for spinning the yarn less than 100 English count.Because the cotton has not been modified by transgenic insect resistance,the fiber performance(Micronaire value)conforms to the historical law.Therefore,the Tongjian No.1 cotton has good use value.
