摘 要:为了解王锦蛇(Elaphe carinata)小肠的发育可塑性,采用形态学、苏木精-伊红染色和消化酶活性测定等方法,比较了50日龄内小肠大小、组织学参数和酶活性的日龄差异。结果表明,小肠湿重指数随日龄增加,小肠长度指数以30日龄组为最高。小肠前段各项组织学参数3日龄和/或50日龄组最高,7~10、20或30日龄组最低;小肠中段除肌层厚度和柱状上皮细胞短径、后段除绒毛高度外,其他组织学参数未见日龄差异。海藻糖酶活性3日龄和10日龄组均显著高于50日龄组,蛋白酶活性40日龄组显著高于3日龄组,但麦芽糖酶活性无日龄差异。研究结果提示,王锦蛇50日龄内小肠形态和功能的可塑性,可能与其生活史阶段和消化生理状态有关,建议40~50日龄时可投喂体积较大的低淀粉、高蛋白含量的食物。To explore the developmental plasticity of the small intestine(SI)of king ratsnakes,the age-related variations in the size,histological parameters and enzyme hydrolytic activities of SI of the reptiles within their postembryonic 50 days of age were measured using morphology,hematoxylin-eosin staining and digestive enzyme hydrolytic activities measurement.The results were as follows:The SI wet mass index was gradually increased along with the developmental processes,but its length index displayed the maximum value at 30 days of age.The histological parameters of SI,including the diameter,muscularis externa width,villus height,and enterocyte diameter and height,reached the highest values at 3 and/or 50 days of age,and the lowest at 7-10,20 or 30 days of age in the anterior segments of SI.Except the muscularis externa width and the enterocyte diameter from the middle segments of SI and the villus height from the posterior segment of SI,no age-related changes were found in any other histological parameters for any segment.Trehalase hydrolytic activity was significantly greater at 3 and 7-10 days of age than that at 50 days of age,and protease hydrolytic activity was significantly higher at 40 days of age than that at 3 days of age,but it was not the case for maltase hydrolytic activity.To sum up,the plasticity of SI morphology and function within postembryonic 50 days of age of the king ratsnakes might be correlated with the juvenile snakes’life stages and digestive physiological status,and it is recommended to feed the snakes with larger-volume diets of low starch and high protein contents at 40 and 50 days of age.
