摘　　要：对广州外籍群体利用公共图书馆的情况进行了调查,发现外籍群体对图书馆的环境、设备、馆员、馆藏、活动等方面的满意度仍有提升空间。在5个方面提出了提升外籍读者服务的措施,包括:加强精细化、专业化的馆藏建设;探索开展体验类、分享类的文化活动;提供不同层次的利用指导;利用新媒介、新方式进行宣传推广;建立馆员与志愿者互为补充的服务模式,以期为广州地区公共图书馆做好外籍读者服务提供参考。This paper investigates on the utilization of public libraries by foreign residents in Guangzhou,and finds that there is still room for improvement in the aspects of library environment,equipment,librarians,collections and activities.It then puts forward the measures to improve the service for foreign residents in five aspects,including strengthening the construction of refined and specialized collections,carrying out cultural activities of experience and sharing,providing guidance on different levels of utilization,using new media and new methods for publicity and promotion,establishing a service mode of mutual supplement between librarians and volunteers,so as to provide reference for foreign reader services in public libraries in Guangzhou.
