摘 要:印地语是《印度宪法》确定的印度官方语言,是狭义的印度语。中国的印地语教育始于1942年,可分为五个发展阶段:1949年之前,1949—1965年,1966—1978年,1979—1999年,2000年之后。其间,有五代教育者为之努力,成就卓著。在近80个春秋的发展过程中,印地语教育起伏跌宕,其背后存在诸多因素,如中国因素、印度因素和中印关系因素等。值得庆幸的是,在新时代的当下,国家强调本科教育,国别与区域研究作用凸显,印地语教育因此受到重视。可以想见,在第四代和第五代教育者的共同推动下,中国的印地语教育必将更上一层楼,必将更好地服务于国家和社会。According to the Indian Constitution,Hindi is the official language of the India.Hindi,in a narrow sense,is the language of India.Hindi education in China started in 1942,and its development can be divided into five phases:before 1949,1949–1965,1966–1978,1979–1999 and after 2000.These phases involved five generations of Hindi educators whose efforts have yielded significant accomplishments.In the meantime,Hindi education in China also experienced ups and downs due to various historical uncertainties both in China and India as well as Sino-India relations.Fortunately,in the New Era,Hindi education is being attached with greater importance as the result of the state’s increasing emphasis on undergraduate education as well as the rising status of Area Studies.With the joint efforts of the fourth and the fifth generation educators,Hindi education in China will definitely reach a higher level of excellence and serve the nation and society in a better way.
