雪糕棒多米诺连锁反应的研究

摘  要:本文研究了第32届国际青年物理学家锦标赛(IYPT)的第17题:雪糕棒多米诺连锁反应———使木质雪糕棒轻微弯曲连接在一起形成互锁的网格状的链式结构。当把这种链式结构的一端释放后,链式结构受的反作用力将抬起该链式结构,雪糕棒会被连续弹出,形成一个波阵面,即“眼镜蛇波”。本文通过改变雪糕棒的几何参数、性质和摆放角度,对形成“眼镜蛇波”的波阵面高度和波速进行了研究。结果发现,要想使“眼镜蛇波”波阵面弹起更高、传播更快,需要增大雪糕棒的厚度、杨氏模量,减小雪糕棒的长度和密度,并以尽可能大的角度摆放。In this paper, the problem about the wooden popsicle domino chain reaction in the 32 nd International Young Physicists’ Tournament(IYPT) is studied theoretically and experimentally. The wooden popsicles are joined together by slight bending so that they can interlock to form a grid-like chain structure. When one end of this chain structure is released, the wooden popsicle will pop up continuously, and at the same time, the chain structure will be lifted up to form a wave front, which is called "cobra wave". By changing the geometric parameters, character and placement angle of the wooden popsicles, the height and velocity of the "cobra wave" is studied. It is found that in order to make the "Cobra Wave" wave front higher and spread faster, it is necessary to increase the thickness and Young’s modulus of the wooden popsicle, reduce the length and density of the wooden popsicle, and swing it at the largest angle put. Regardless of the width of the wooden popsicle.
