摘　　要：西瓜是埃及的重要农作物之一,已有5000年的历史,埃及是研究西瓜起源驯化历史的重要国家。本文概述了西瓜的起源,引种传播,特别是埃及西瓜的考古,图像以及文献记载历史;阐述了当前埃及西瓜的生产和科研现状,和限制埃及西瓜产业化发展的因素,为埃及西瓜发展提出了建议和展望。本文为深度了解埃及西瓜的起源历史甚至非洲品种资源利用提供了参考。Watermelon is one of the important crops in Egypt,with a long history of cultivation about 5,000 years.Egypt is an important region of watermelon origin and domestication.This paper summarizes the history of watermelon in Egypt,the historical analysis of archaeology and iconography,the status of production,the progress of scientific research,and analyzes the current cultivation mode,variety diversity and the limiting factors of industrial development.It provides a reference for understanding the origin history and fully using the germplasm resources of watermelon in Egypt.
