The residual processing gravels are used to produce artificial sand, which completely replaces natural river sand to prepare large slump C30 and C50 concrete. The physical properties of the concrete mixture and the mechanical properties within 180 d are studied. The results show that the slump of the tailing artificial sand concrete mixture is slightly smaller when compared with the natural river sand concrete with the same mix ratio; The development law of cubic compressive strength, axial compressive strength, and split tensile strength within 180 d of age is basically the same as that of natural river sand concrete, and the strength of this concrete after 28 d of age is slightly higher than that of natural river sand concrete of the same age.Based on the test results, the conversion relationships between the axial compressive strength, split tensile strength, and cubic compressive strength of the concrete are analyzed, and the safety of this concrete has been proven to meet the requirements of the relevant codes.
