Loneliness is an eternal topic in literature. Many writers, past or present, domestic or foreign, have written about loneliness and thought about how to overcome it.Hongke,a contemporary writer, has written enough about environment and events in his novels that can make people feel lonely, but he does not intend to express only people’s loneliness.Instead,he resists loneliness, trying to look for poetry and find out poetry, namely,“narrating against loneliness”.In Hongke’s novels, there are three factors that may cause people to feel lonely:the empty living environment, the lonely daily life, and death that they have to face, but all of them have been finally dispelled by the writer.Hongke’s anti-loneliness narrative is obviously imbued with ecological consciousness, because he starts with how to deal with the relationship between man and nature, and guides people to correctly understand the law of life and death in nature. At the same time,he suggests that people can enjoy the sense of satisfaction in their daily life alone, and they can look for poetry in their inner world. The anti-loneliness narrative in Hongke’s novels reflects the artistic pursuit of romantic poetry, the attempt to weaken the impact of hardships, and the optimistic attitude towards life, which is illuminating to modern people whose sense of loneliness is aggravated by the increasingly affluent material life.
