摘　　要：地名是地理实体的重要构成要素,地名普查的目的是查清区域内地理实体的地名属性信息、图形信息、多媒体信息等,准确掌握区域地名的基础数据,为社会发展提供完备的地名地址信息,实现数字化的地名信息管理。该文以某地的第二次全国地名普查项目为例,通过3S技术辅助实现地理基础数据与地名信息的一体化调查与管理,形成一种快速的地名普查方法。Place names are important elements of geographical entities,the purpose of the census is to find out the geographical names of geographical entities graphic information,multimedia information,etc.,to accurately grasp the basic data of regional names,provide complete place name address information for social development and realize digital place name information management.This article takes the second national census of places as an example,through the 3S technology to achieve the integration of geographic data and geographical names of information integration and management to form a quick method of census of place names.
