摘　　要：河南曾经长期是封建时代国家政治、经济、文化的中心,长期处于领先地位,但是其从南宋开始社会经济逐渐衰退,至晚清更是衰败,全面落后于江南地区。这种衰败对区域文化事业、经济发展和人口素质、人民性格形成都产生了持久而深远的影响。Henan used to be the center of national politics,economy and culture in feudal times,and it was in a leading position for a long time.However,its social economy declined gradually from the Southern Song Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty,and it fell behind the Jiangnan area in an all-round way.This decline had a lasting and far-reaching impact on regional culture undertakings,economic development,population quality,and people’s character.
