摘　　要：Elizabeth Bishop was an American poet and short-story writer.At the time of her death,she was respected as a“writ⁃er’s writer”on account of her technical mastery and exemplary patience and dedication to her craft.Her whole lifetime was nearly spent on traveling,geography and animal are two important elements of her poetry.Three animal poems will be analyzed in the per⁃spective of ecocriticism,which reveals the relationship between human and nature in literary works and can give Bishop’s poems a perfect explanation.
