摘  要:大容量新型调相机在我国特高压直流送受端的应用有效降低了换相失败的风险、提高了输电系统短路比以及有效地解决了无功支撑不足的问题。提高调相机容量、加快其无功响应速度、强化其过载能力是优化新型同步调相机动态无功支撑能力的关键。然而,由于其运行工况复杂、响应形式多样,提高了对调相机电气特性和机械性能的要求,增加了调相机本体优化设计和改进控制策略的难度。以2极48槽的300Mvar调相机为例,使用有限元方法准确计算了大容量新型调相机自身运行特性,通过改变励磁电流模拟不同运行工况,明确了无功功率与励磁电流的数学关系。从气隙角度对调相机本体结构进行优化仿真,得到了气隙大小对新型调相机容量、电磁损耗、气隙谐波的影响。仿真结果表明,改善气隙大小对优化大容量新型调相机的有效性。The application of new generation large capacity synchronous condenser in UHVDC transmission termi-nal in China has effectively reduced the risk of phase change failure,increased the short-circuit ratio of the trans-mission system and effectively solved the problem of insufficient reactive power support.It is the key to optimize the dynamic reactive power support capability of the new synchronous condenser to improve the capacity of the tuner,speed up its reactive power response and strengthen its overload capacity.However,due to the complex operating conditions and diverse response forms,the requirements for the electrical and mechanical properties of the synchro-nous condenser are increased,which makes it more difficult to optimize the design of the tuner itself and to improve the control strategy.To this end,taking the 300Mvar synchronous condenser with 2-pole 48 slot as an example,the operation characteristics of the new type synchronous condenser with large capacity were accurately calculated by u-sing the finite element method.By changing the excitation current to simulate different operating condition,the math-ematical relationship between reactive power and excitation current was clarified.The effect of the size of air gap on the capacity,electromagnetic loss and harmonic of the new type of tuner was obtained.Simulation results show that improving the size of air gap is effective in optimizing the new generation large capacity synchronous condenser.
