摘 要:关键提示中型无船承运人具有吸引小批量、即期市场高价货的能力,这让他们在跨太平洋东行航线中处于有利的竞争地位。2020年,随着大大小小的托运人争相获取亚洲出口的舱位和集装箱资源,不同规模的无船承运人(NVO)在亚洲至美国航线市场上的份额都有所增加。当前的市场环境下,年运量在10万TEU以内的“中型”NVO优势凸显。太平洋航线市场巨大,中型承运人凭借其灵活性能够更好地服务小型客户,同时他们通常在亚洲设有办事处,更方便接触当地小型托运人。Non-vessel-operating common carriers(NVOs)of all sizes increased their share of US imports from Asia this year as shippers both large and small scrambled to secure vessel space and containers at Asian load ports.The current environment favors the“second tier”of NVOs,who control less than 100,000 TEU a year.Their nimbleness and on-site presence in Asia give them greater access to smaller shippers,according to both NVOs and carriers.In addition to having close working relationships with Asian manufacturers,some mid-size NVOs have nearby equipment depots,a key advantage,said an NVO executive who requested anonymity.
