经济增长的趋同及其条件——区域发展计划的再思考

摘　　要：改革开放40余年的发展不仅见证了中国经济的快速增长,也推动了区域经济关系的显著变化。本文对区域间经济增长模式的实证分析表明,地区间经济增长的绝对收敛呈加速的态势。然而,仅仅依靠经济增长绝对趋同的自发机制,很难在既定的时期内实现区域协同发展的战略目标。本文认为,新时期的区域发展计划要致力于培育与新发展阶段相适应的持续的增长动力,既要注重增长动力的转换,又要利用大国经济的独特优势,与发达地区实现优势互补。In the past four decades,China has witnessed both fast economic growth and substantial changes in regional disparities as well.The empirical analysis in this paper indicates that the absolute convergence of economic growth across regions has been accelerating.Even though,it would be not enough to achieve the strategic goals of balancing the regional economy proposed by the central government if simply relying on the autonomous mechanism of absolute convergence.In the new era of economic development,the regional development programs have to develop sustainable growth engine by taking advantage of the big economy and complementing the economic structure with coastal areas.
