摘 要:日本说话文学的集大成之作《今昔物语集》两篇中讲述了秦始皇时期佛法东渐故事与秦朝建国灭亡史。编者对秦始皇故事的阐释与再构建,对故事位置的“巧妙”安排以及对中国叙述与日本叙述所形成的强烈反差,折射出平安末期的日本欲宣示其优越性的对华意识。它伴随律令制在日本逐渐解体而生,是政治局势在文化层面上的反应,是日本自我意识觉醒、民族主义膨胀的表现,也是日本人在自我与他者关系的构建中向华夷秩序的中心中国主张自我的结果。其实质是古代日本在自卑与自大的交叉挣扎中酝酿出来的一种扭曲心态与自我臆想的产物。The Japanese magnum opus Konjyakumonogatarisyu tells the story of the eastward spread of Buddhism during the ruling of Qinshihuang(the First Emperor of Qin Dynasty)and the history of the collapse of Qin Dynasty in two volumes.The author’s narration and reconstruction of the stories about Qinshihuang,the“skillful”arrangement of the stories and the sharp contrast between the Chinese and Japanese narratives reflected the Japanese consciousness of declaring its superiority to China in the late Heian period.Coming into being with the gradual disintegration of the legal system in Japan,it is a cultural reflection of the political situation,a manifestation of Japan’s self-awareness and nationalism expansion,and a result that Japan attempted to emphasize itself in the face of the powerful country China during Japanese’s construction of relations between self and the other.However,it is essentially a kind of distorted mentality and self-imagination out of the struggle between inferiority and superiority.
