摘　　要：2019年,是新加坡开埠重要的历史节点。这一年,官方与民间举办了不少"开埠200年"纪念活动,新加坡戏曲界也非常热闹。除了新加坡旅游局鼎力支持、牛车水商联会举办的"牛车水戏曲节"和南华潮剧社的"万紫千红"系列演出、新加坡戏曲大汇演、戏曲胡姬花奖评选展演之外,还有戏曲团体为老人院或社区呈献的近40场公益性演出和韭菜芭城隍庙的百多场庙会酬神戏。这一年内,多个剧团在剧院与民众俱乐部礼堂共推出了二十几部新制作。粤剧、潮剧、越剧、歌仔戏、京剧、琼剧,不同的剧种都有各自的亮点。综观全年演出,戏曲团体为推出创作剧目、重温经典名著、移植中国优秀院团的剧目、强化基本训练、开拓海外传播,付出了巨大努力,体现了新加坡戏曲人的创造力和使命感。2019 marked the bicentennial of the founding of modern Singapore.The year was packed with exhibitions,seminars and many other commemorative events.It was also a year that the Xiqu scene was full of vibrancy,with many new productions launched and classics re-staged.Among the new works presented,"Tiger Tally"produced by the newly formed Cantonese Opera Alliance,was well received as director Henry Lau devised a modern look for the production,which interweaved 8 performers as refugees,guards,court ladies-in-waiting or soldiers,between the scenes.The other memorable production was"Loss of Love"directed by Lim Mei Lian,artistic director of Tian Yun Beijing Opera Society."Loss of Love"re-structured two Beijing opera classics"Lan Ke Shan"and"Qin Xiang Lian",that are about betrayal of love.The youthful cast brought the words to life through movement and energy that were impressive.Four Singaporeans productions were featured on the world stage at diverse international theatre festivals.The Jade Opera Group(JOG)presented"Romance at the Black Forest"at the"2019 Chulalongkorn Asian Heritage Forum:Panji/Inao-Preserving and Reviving the Shared Heritage of Southeast Asia"in June."Hong Kun Yu and Kshirja Govind combined Hokkien opera and Bharatanatyam in a cross-cultural production.Although one spoke in Hokkien and the other one in Tamil,their usage of music and body languages told the story with clarity and we were totally attracted to it."Tang Renaissance Limited brought a new opera written by Chua Soo Pong to the 4 th International Experimental Theatre Festival to present a Yue opera"The Haunted Temple"in October.In the same month,Thau Yong Amateur Musical Association was invited by Osaka University to present Teochew opera"Ramayana"at its inaugural art program at the Piccolo Theatre.The audiences in Guangzhou and Shantou were equally intrigued by the unconventional staging of"The Severing Sword".The major productions demonstrated the creative energy and the sense of mission of the xiqu practitioners in Singapore.
