摘 要:稀土是重要的战略资源,海洋是稀土矿产重要的赋存场所。以国家自然科学基金委员会首次南海科考表层沉积物样品为研究对象,利用扫描X射线荧光光谱仪、电感耦合等离子体质谱仪等开展了地球化学分析,重点探讨了南海表层沉积物中稀土元素的分布特征及其影响因素。数据显示,南海不同海域表层沉积物中稀土元素的含量差别较大,25个站位中含量超过边缘海平均含量的有13个,超过大陆沉积物平均含量的有14个,最高含量为593.30×10^-6。纵向上,稀土元素含量有随沉积物厚度加深而增大的变化趋势。结合之前对南海多金属结核和结壳是稀土元素富集情况的研究,认为随着勘探工作的深入开展,有望发现具有开采价值的稀土资源远景区域。Rare earth is an important strategic resource,and the ocean is the main occurrence place of rare earth mineral resources.In this paper,taking the samples from the first South China Sea scientific investigation of the NSFC as the research objects,the geochemical analysis of these samples was carried out by using the scanning X-ray fluorescence spectrometer and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer.The distribution characteristics and influence factors of rare earth elements(REEs)in the South China Sea Surface Sediments were mainly discussed.The results show that the contents of REEs are quite different in the surface sediments of different areas in the South China Sea.A total of 13 samples have higher contents of REEs than the average contents from the marginal sea of all the 25 sites,and 14 samples have higher contents of REEs than the average contents of continental sediments,and the highest value is 593.30×10^-6.In the vertical direction,the content of REE increases with the depth of sediment.Based on the previous studies on the enrichment of REEs in the polymetallic nodules and crusts in the South China Sea,it is believed that with the further development of exploration work,it is expected to find the prospective areas of rare earth resources with mining value.
