摘　　要：美国左翼戏剧家托尼•库什纳的《天使在美国》在千禧年主义的背景下探讨美国20世纪80年代里根时期的末日危机,通过主要人物罗伊和普莱尔传达剧作家对末日救赎的思考。作为左翼戏剧的代表,库什纳运用马克思主义辩证法,用启蒙进步观否定本雅明的历史停滞论,又用本雅明历史救赎的思想对新黑格尔实证主义加以扬弃,进而建构了他独特的末世论主题:通过重新言说被遗忘的过去,发掘蕴含其中的千禧年主义的救赎之光,揭示人类进步的可能性。American left-wing playwright Tony Kushner discusses the crisis of the Reagan government in the 1980s’under the context of Millennialism in his work Angels in America.Kushner conveys his thought of the doomsday redemption by the main characters Roy and Prior.As a representative of left-wing playwrights,Kushner accepted Marxist Dialectics and refuted Walter Benjamin’s Historical Stagnation through the enlightenment view of progress;he then denied the Neo-Hegelian Positivism using Benjamin’s theory of Redemption of History,and hence established his own unique Eschatology:by retelling the forgotten past and exploring the meaning of millennialism redemption,to indicate the possibility of human progress.
