潮州地区地名异读现象例析

摘　　要：潮州地区地名存在许多异读现象,它们既反映着历史痕迹,又蕴含着方言印记。对潮州地区三县区进行实地调查,分析潮语中地名异读现象,可将原因归纳为文白异读、古音遗存、约定俗成、雅字替换等四个方面。潮州地区的地名异读既有共性又有特性,且并不是只受单一因素而决定,这反映了潮州地区古朴的语言文化、历史文化与民俗文化。There are many variant pronunciations of place names in Chaozhou,which not only reflect the historical traces,but also contain dialect marks.Through the field investigation of three regions of Chaozhou,we can analyze the phenomenon of variant pronunciations of place names in Chaozhou dialect.The reasons for this phenomenon can be summarized into four aspects:literary and colloquial pronunciations,survival of ancient pronunciations,conventions,and replacement of elegant characters.There are similarities and characteristics in the variant pronunciations of place names in Chaozhou,which are affected by more than one single factor.This reflects the simple language culture,historical culture and folk culture of Chaozhou.
