摘　　要：通过梳理和分析美国20世纪关于国家行为的文化研究历程可以发现,美国的此类研究因战争或危机而兴盛,在形势相对平稳的时期则有所降温。这一规律告诉我们:美国关于国家行为的文化研究带有强烈的问题意识,针对性强、实用色彩浓厚。从理论视角和研究方法来看,美国关于国家行为的文化研究呈现从现代主义向后现代和后现代之后过渡的特征。这一点与美国语言文学研究的发展具有同向性。An analysis of the development in American studies of state behavior from cultural perspectives in the 20th century shows us a pattern:such studies rose high when the United States was confronted with wars or crises,but ebbed in less turbulent periods.This pattern alerts us to the fact that American studies of state behavior from cultural perspectives have been sensitive to real problems,with strong pertinence and adaptability.In theoretical stances and methodology,the American studies of state behavior from cultural perspectives tend to go from modernism to postmodernism and post-postmodernism,in the same direction as the development of American studies of language and literature.
