论古代广州人的“素馨情结”

摘　　要：素馨花在广州有着悠久的种植历史。它从西域被引进,又因南汉美人而获“素馨”的雅名。在人们日常生活中,它具有相当高的审美及实用价值,尤其是在一些民俗活动中扮演着重要的角色。而且,因其与南汉素馨女之间的关联,更使文人墨客产生共鸣,赋予其高洁孤傲的人格,并由此生发出吊古怀今的情怀。种种现象反映出“素馨情结”的稳定存在。Jasminum grandiflorum(Jasmine flower)has a long history of planting in Guangzhou.It was introduced from the Western regions and gained the elegant name of“jasmine”because of the beauty from the Southern Han Dynasty.In people's daily life,it has high aesthetic and practical value,especially plays an important role in some folk activities.Moreover,due to its connection with the jasmine beauties of the Southern Han Dynasty,the literati were more likely to resonate and endow the beauties with noble and arrogant personality and thus gave birth to the feelings of nostalgia for the past and the present.All the phenomena can reflect that“jasmine complex”has been existing steadily.
