摘　　要：叙事学视域下的人物研究未曾从整体上考虑一部作品的全部人物,弗朗索瓦兹·拉沃卡教授以此作为切入口,将某地域、某阶段代表性文学作品中的全部人物视为虚构世界中的人口,利用人口统计学的科学方法进行探究,旨在深化对时代、作者、文本、人物之间交互作用的认识,从而丰富叙事学的研究。目前,拉沃卡团队已在作家与人口风格、性别与叙事差异等方面有所发现,而随着研究的深入,人物向人口转变的研究方法势必会展现更多成果。The study of characters in narratology has never considered all the characters in a work as a whole before professor Francois Lavocat regards all the characters in the representative literary works of a certain region at a certain period of time as the population in the fictional world.He uses the scientific method of demography to study the characters in order to deepen the understanding of the interactive relations among times,author,text,and characters,and thus to enrich the study of narratology.At present,Lavocat’s team has had some discoveries in the aspects of writer and demographic style,and gender and narrative difference.With the progress of this project,the shift from characters to population research is bound to show more results.
