摘 要:胰岛素抵抗是肥胖的标志,β细胞功能也会随之发生改变。2020年4月,JCEM杂志发表了一篇题为《减重改善重度肥胖伴空腹糖耐量受损患者β细胞功能:一个治疗窗》的文章[Rothberg AE,Herman WH,Wu C,et al.J Clin Endocrinol Metab,2020,105(4):e1621-e1630]。该文为开放获取文章,本文对其进行了中文编译。该文通过对58例重度肥胖伴正常糖耐量、空腹血糖受损和早期2型糖尿病的患者以及13名正常体重、正常糖耐量个体进行研究,评估医学减重对胰岛素敏感性、胰岛素分泌量和β细胞功能的影响。结果表明短期减重能够改善肥胖伴空腹糖耐量受损患者的β细胞功能,效果可维持2年,提示这些患者可能存在一个治疗窗口。Insulin resistance is a hallmark of obesity,andβ-cell function may adapt to it.This paper is the Chinese translation of"Weight Loss Improvesβ-Cell Function in People with Severe Obesity and Impaired Fasting Glucose:A Window of Opportunity",published on J Clin Endocrinol Metab[Rothberg AE,Herman WH,Wu C,et al.J Clin Endocrinol Metab,2020,105(4):e1621-e1630],which is open-accessed to all the readers.In this study,58 subjects with severe obesity accompanied by normal glucose tolerance(NGT),impaired fasting glucose(IFG),and early type 2 diabetes(T2DM)as well as 13 subjects with normal weight and NGT were included,with the aim to assess the effect of medical weight loss on insulin sensitivity,insulin secretion,andβ-cell function.The results suggest that short-term weight loss may improveβ-cell function in subjects with obesity accompanied by IFG,which may remain through 2 years,indicating a window of opportunity for treatment.
