西部的高等教育研究者关注什么——在普遍性与区域性之间

摘　　要：依据研究属性与关注范围,高等教育研究可分为普遍性的理论研究、普遍性的实践研究、区域性的理论研究和区域性的实践研究4种类型。基于科学计量学的方法对西部地区高等教育研究者的研究成果分析发现:整体上,西部学者主要从事具有普遍性特征的高教研究,立足西部本土的区域性研究还有待加强。西部学者在普遍性理论研究中,主要围绕高等教育基本理论进行探讨;在普遍性实践研究中,主要致力于国家层面的高等教育政策分析;在区域性理论研究中,主要围绕西南联大与西部特色学科建设进行研究,在区域性实践研究中,主要围绕西部大开发与生态文明建设进行研究。普遍性和区域性并非冲突对立,二者的有机结合将会对西部高等教育研究与实践带来更多启示。According to the difference of research properties and scope of research,higher education research can be divided into four types:universal theoretical research,universal practical research,regional theoretical research and regional practical research.Based on the method of scientometrics,the study analyzes the research results of higher education researchers in Western China,and finds that,on the whole,the researchers in the western universities are mainly engaged in higher education research with universal characteristics,and the regional research based on the western regions still needs to be strengthened.In the universal theoretical research,the western scholars mainly focus on the basic theory of higher education;in the universal practical research,they mainly focus on the analysis of higher education policy at the national level;in the regional theoretical research,they mainly center on the Southwest Associated University and western characteristic disciplines;in the regional practical research,they mainly centre on the western development and ecological civilization construction research.The universality and regionalism are not in conflict and opposition and the combination of them will bring more enlightenment to the research and practice of western higher education.
