Analysis of municipal source water quality in Beijing before and after the south-to-north water transfer project

摘  要:目的了解"南水北调工程"对北京市市政水源水水质的影响。方法分析和整理北京市2001—2019年市政水厂地表水源水及地下水源水的监测资料。结果共监测市政水源水346件,其中地表水源水77件,地下水源水269件。南水进京后,北京市地表水源水的合格率由之前的68.63%上升至96.15%(P<0.05),溶解性总固体、总硬度、氯化物、硫酸盐和氟化物的平均值从南水北调前的255.44±78.30、179.41±37.69、19.12±27.36、42.94±14.94和0.36±0.05 mg/L分别降低至181.04±25.94、127.05±21.12、7.04±2.54、32.01±4.47和0.20±0.03 mg/L(P<0.05)。地下水源水的水质指标与南水引入前相比没有明显变化(P>0.05)。结论南水的引入提高了北京市地表水源水水质,增强了首都供水保障能力,社会、生态效应显著。Objective To study the influence of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project on the municipal source water quality in Beijing City. Methods The monitoring data of surface source water and ground source water from municipal water works in Beijing City were collected and analyzed during 2001 to 2019. Results A total of 346 source water samples were monitored, including 77 surface source water and 269 ground source water. After the implementation of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project, the qualified rate of physicochemical indexes in surface source water increased from 68.63% to 96.15%(P<0.05), and the average total dissolved solids, total hardness, chloride, sulfate and fluoride values fell from 255.44±78.30, 179.41±37.69, 19.12±27.36, 42.94±14.94 and 0.36±0.05 mg/L before the project to 181.04±25.94, 127.05±21.12, 7.04±2.54, 32.01±4.47 and 0.20±0.03 mg/L after the project(P<0.05). Compared with the data before the implementation of South-to-North water transfer project, the water quality index in ground source water didn’t show significant changes(P>0.05). Conclusion The South-to-North water transfer project greatly improves the surface source water quality and the security of urban water supply in Beijing City, contributing to both social and ecological benefits.
