摘　　要：英国著名马克思主义学者、历史学家霍布斯鲍姆是民族与民族主义研究领域的大家。在其卷帙浩繁的学术著述中,既有关于民族与民族主义研究的专著,也在其他不同主题的专著与论文中对民族与民族主义有着深刻研究与思考。通过梳理霍布斯鲍姆的著述会发现,他重点关注和研究了“长19世纪”时期欧洲民族主义的变迁及对民族国家的塑造作用。他既从社会史入手探讨了欧洲历史变迁中民族主义的复杂性,也从马克思主义视角关注了民族意识与阶层意识的交错,并将欧洲民族主义叙事的建构性特征进行了深入呈现,为我们进行民族与民族主义研究提供了借鉴与启迪。Hobsbawm,a famous British Marxist scholar and historian,is a great master in the field of nationality and nationalism researches.His voluminous academic works touches upon not only Monographs on the study of nationality and nationalism,but also on different themes with profound researches and reflection on nationality and nationalism.Reviewing Hobsbawm's works serve to show that he focuses on the changes of European nationalism in the"19th century"and their role in shaping the nation-state.He discusses the complexity of nationalism in the historical changes of Europe,and also pays attention to the intersection of national consciousness and class consciousness from the perspective of Marxism.He deepens the construction of European nationalism narration,which is of significant reference to study nationality and nationalism.
