摘 要:针对稀土化合物对Mg-Al合金的细化问题,通过向纯Mg中复合添加Al和Sm元素制得Mg-7Sm-4Al细化剂,研究了细化剂对Mg-6Al合金的细化效果,并设计了直接添加同等量Al和Sm的对照实验。讨论了这俩种添加方式对Mg-6Al合金晶粒尺寸的影响。实验结果表明:外添加Mg-7Sm-4Al细化剂可以很好的细化Mg-6Al合金。当Mg-7Sm-4Al细化剂的添加量质量分数为36.4%时,Mg-6Al合金的平均晶粒尺寸由原始的126.12μm细化到75.68μm。细化机制是Mg-7Sm-4Al中未溶解的Al2Sm颗粒起到了异质形核作用,溶解的Al和Sm元素的溶质效应,二者协同作用使合金细化。从直接添加Al和Sm的对照实验可以得出,添加质量分数为0.64%Sm会使Mg-6Al合金晶粒粗化,因为Sm元素具有去除氧化物杂质的作用,带走Mg-Al合金中富氧异质形核质点,降低形核率。当Sm的添加量达到质量分数的2.55%时,Sm和Al生成具有异质形核能力的Al_(2)Sm颗粒,使合金细化。The Mg-7Sm-4Al refiner was prepared by adding Al and Sm elements to pure Mg,and the refining effect of the refiner on Mg-6Al alloy was studied.The comparative experiment was designed to directly add the same amount of Al and Sm.The effects of these two addition methods on the grain size of Mg-6Al alloy were discussed.The results showed that the addition of the Mg-7Sm-4Al refiner can refine the Mg-6Al alloy very well.When the addition amount of the Mg-7Sm-4Al was 36.4%,the average grain size of the Mg-6Al alloy was refined from the original 126.12μm to 75.68μm.The refiner mechanism was that the undissolved Al2Sm particles in the Mg-7Sm-4Al alloy act as a heterogeneous nucleation,soluble Al and Sm elements cause solute effects,and the two reasons together make the alloy refine.From the comparative experiment results of directly adding Al and Sm,it can be concluded that adding 0.64%Sm could coarsen the grain of Mg-6Al alloy,due to Sm element removed oxide impurities,and took away the oxygen-rich heterogeneous in Mg-Al alloy,thus reducing the nucleation rate.When the addition amount of Sm reaches 2.55%,the alloy is refined,because Sm and Al formed Al_(2)Sm particles with heterogeneous nucleation ability.
